State drama theater named after Hovhannes Abelyan of Vanadzor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The theater opened in 1931 and was known as the Gharakilisa Theater. It was the third theater in the republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theater’s actors have received numerous honorary awards, and the theater’s repertoire consists of both Armenian national and classical and world performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also cooperates with the Vanadzor branch of the State Institute of Theater and Cinema, and students’ works are often included in the theater’s repertoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
