Stepan Zoryan House-museum

In the mid-1960s, Stepan Zoryan built this residence, where he lived and composed from 1964 to 1967.
In 1972, the Council of Ministers of the Armenian SSR decided to turn the writer’s home into a museum, and in 1982, the Stepan Zoryan House-Museum was officially founded.

The first floor has been preserved in its original state, while the second floor was completed later. In addition to the two floors, a third floor with a single room was added. The designs for both the summer house and the museum were created by the writer’s architect sons, Levon and Karen Zoryan.

The museum’s collection features over 1,940 items reflecting the writer’s life, including books, manuscripts, photographs, personal belongings, household items, and paintings.
It comprises seven exhibition halls that not only present Stepan Zoryan’s life and literary-public activity but also reflect the cultural atmosphere of the city during that era.
