The Russian Orthodox Church in Vanadzor
The Russian Orthodox Church in Vanadzor, located in the city center, was built between 1893 and 1895, designed by architect Pomertsanov. Its architecture resembles a smaller version of the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. In 1993, on the occasion of its 100th anniversary, the church was blessed by Father Innokentiy.
